James M. Connelly
As a principal with Summit Commercial Real Estate, Mr. Connelly’s responsibilities include: commercial leasing, tenant representation, commercial sales and acquisitions. His commercial leasing experience, focuses on serving Washington’s associations, corporate, union, not-for-profit, and diplomatic communities. He coordinates a step-by-step process for clients to locate, acquire, expand and improve raw land and/or office space in Metropolitan D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Specific strategic planning capabilities consist of, market analysis, financial analysis, property evaluation, coordination of zoning. legal expertise, construction management lease negotiations, and tax-exempt financial alternatives. His practice area also includes selected dispositions and acquisitions for financial institutions and developers. He has completed transactions throughout the DC Metro area and is currently working with several clients on a nationwide and international basis.
Prior to joining Summit Commercial Real Estate, he previously had been employed with Lincoln Property Company and the Charles E. Smith Companies. (Vornado).
